Ok, so this coffee shop isn’t actually in Key West but it is just a few miles (15 to be exact) up the highway.  And it is absolutely worth the drive.

Established in 1991, Baby’s is one of the oldest coffee roasters in the Keys. It started in Key West on Duval but eventually found its permanent home on Little Torch Key.

And not only does it have divine, freshly roasted coffee, but it has a glorious assortment of pastries, sandwiches, chocolates, specialty grocery items, and even bicycle repair items for those more sporty types.

I am always a fan of a simple latte or cafe con leche but dang, this rich, chocolately treat is perfect for that much-needed afternoon pickup.
